Welcome to Sugar Glider Supply. Located in beautiful Port Huron, Michigan, about 30 minutes from Detroit. Your one stop shop for all your sugar glider, rat, ferret, hedgehog, gerbil, hamster, and flying squirrel bedding and bonding supplies. Every item is hand-made, hand-cut, fleece lined and machine washable. I have been making bedding and bonding supplies for over 10 years. Sugar Glider Supply was started by the inspiration of my very first sugar glider. It started all started with a sewing machine, a yard of fabric and an idea. I wanted to create the perfect bonding pouch. A pouch with invisible seems, a window, and of course fleece for a lining.
Over the years I have perfected this pouch. The straps that were once stitched in, as times changed were made removable. I have also designed a larger pouch as our family added hedgehogs to the mix. The hedgehogs, as well as the sugar gliders took to the pouches instantly. All of our products have invisible seems, the safest bedding for your animals feet.
Every product we sell, from our zipper bonding pouches, to our cage sets, all have hidden, invisible seems with a fleece lining. We understand that you want quality bedding and bonding supplies at a discounted price. All of our products available at Sugar Glider Supply have been tested and approved by little ones. If our pets don't approve you won't find the product here. We at Sugar Glider Supply understand that pets are more than pets, they are 'Part of your family to!'

Bonding with Your New Sugar Glider-Sugar Glider Bonding 101
Bonding with a sugar glider is rewarding experience, but it also takes time and patience on your part. Your new little friend more than likely isn't going to bond with you over night. In most cases it can take a month or two for a sugar glider to earn your trust.
When bringing home a new sugar glider, it really is best to let them settle in for a good day or two. Choose a location for your sugar glider that is free of heavy traffic, breezes, loud noises or any other disturbance. This will allow your sugar glider to feel safe in its new surroundings. The sugar glider needs to get acquired to their new surroundings, sounds and other family dynamics, as well as smells. The sugar glider needs to trust you. Putting fingers or a new face in their new sleeping quarters probably isn't the best idea. Spend time with your sugar glider during the day while it is napping. This will allow your new little pet to get used to your scent and sound of your voice. Bonding pouches work great for this purpose. That is because sugar gliders bond by scent.
One early bonding trick that works well is to have a scent blankie added to the cage and bonding pouches. A week before I added the new little family member I slept with a little blankie. When I brought a new sugar glider home I added the blankie to their cage pouch, and bonding pouch. The glider could get used to my scent, and warm up to me slowly.
Be consistent when you are bonding. Talk to your sugar glider in a soft soothing tone. Yelling or hitting is NOT the proper way to bonding with a sugar glider. Sugar gliders are nocturnal. I always scooped or picked up my new sugar gliders during the day. They are sleepy and more relaxed.
Sugar Glider love meal worms. I would have mealworms, and 'licky treats' such as honey, yogurt, or even applesauce so that the little glider associated me with being a positive experience. Each sugar glider is unique. Remember that spending a little time each day with your sugar glider is worth it. Once the bond is established you will have a friend for life!
